Offshore industry provides innumerable operational challenges while the cost of manmade mistake often becomes irreparable. In these conditions simulator training is the great way of providing offshore seafarers and rig personnel with sufficient practical skills, thereby enhancing safety of human life and environment.
The Anchor Handling Training is one of the most popular among the offshore simulator courses. It is developed to illuminate possible pitfalls of anchor handling and winch operations and raise their safety and efficiency. Course consists of theoretical and practical parts and includes GOMO guidelines, Vryhof and Bruce manuals; types of anchor systems, safe use of winch and shark jaws. There is also usually communication practice module incorporated in order to facilitate teamwork between commanding officer and winch operator, bridge and rig, bridge and deck, etc.
Closely related is Winch Operator Course which describes towing and anchor handling winches on offshore vessels. Course program scrutinizes types of winches and their layouts, frequently used terminology and abbreviations. Students also study winch computer, winch capacities and emergency procedures during winch operations.
The Rig Move Training allows gaining comprehensive understanding of this complex offshore operation. It’s well known that’s rig move requires a meticulous planning as well as skillful towing; so the course deals with the both aspects. Theoretical part is devoted to HSE requirements to MOU move operations, rigs types, on shore planning and risk assessment; while simulator module consists of towing and maneuvering practices and various handling procedures.

Anchor Handling (E-learning) Training
The aim of the Anchor Handling (E-learning) Training is to familiarize audience with the anchor handling operations without an actual hands-on experience which is guaranteed by simulator courses. Nevertheless, CBT anchor handling trainings are meticulous in details and provide well-round understanding of dangers connected with shallow and deepwater AH operations. Objective: After the Anchor Handling […]
Anchor Handling Basic Training (Shallow Water)
The purpose of Anchor Handling Basic Training is to provide delegates with the general overview of anchor handling operations; explain dangers associated with them and share best communicational practices. The course complies with Guidelines for Offshore Marine Operations (G-OMO) and includes theoretical and practical parts. Objectives: Upon completion of the Anchor Handling Basic Training participants […]
Anchor Handling Deepwater Training
As the Oil&Gas companies move deeper into the sea in their constant search for carbohydrates, the offshore industry’s demand for competent anchor-handlers remains equally intensive. In this light the Anchor Handling Deepwater Training is particularly convenient since it allows training all the intricate AH operations, which in deep sea often require a number of vessels […]
Anchor Handling Safety Training
The Anchor Handling Safety Training is developed for Deck or Engine officers taking up positions onboard of AH vessels or just planning to get a job there. The course will be especially interesting for delegates will little or no offshore experience as it provides basic understanding of anchor handling operations and describes in-detail essential equipment […]
Anchor Handling Simulator
The Anchor Handling Simulator courses prove to be quite useful tool for offshore bridge officers as they provide the all-round understanding of risks involved in the anchor-handling, rig move and other related activities as well as thorough practice training of all operations in the manual, joystick and DP modes. Objectives: On completion of the Anchor […]
Rig Move Training
The purpose of the Rig Move Training is to provide comprehensive analysis of the variety of operations associated with the rig move with an emphasis on planning and safety procedures as well as simulator towing/maneuvering practices. Objectives: Upon completion of the Rig Move Training delegates will be competent in the following aspects: • HSE requirements […]
