Surface Supplied Diver Unrestricted Course

The Surface Supplied Diver Unrestricted course provides a variety of competencies and certificates including Unrestricted Surface Supply Diver (50m), Occupational SCUBA and Commercial Nitrox qualifications. The program is comprehensive and prolonged, but allows developing maximum skills for different underwater operations such as hull inspection, police and scientific investigations, offshore and bridge construction, media production, etc. In other certification systems it might be called Commercial Deep Sea Diving Course or ADAS SSBA Part 2 training.

Objective:

The key objective of the Surface Supplied Diver Unrestricted course is provide delegates with skills and knowledge to operate diving equipment required for the 50 m dives professionally. In addition, the training features the diversity of power tools e.g. underwater welding apparatus, chainsaw, suction dredging equipment which are used for various commercial operations.

Course content:

• Diver equipment: surface supplied air apparatus, SCUBA, Nitrox;
• Diving helmets, Kirby Morgan helmet and Bandmask;
• Hot water suits, Chamber operations;
• Industry regulations;
• Underwater sign and hardwire communications;
• Welding tools, chainsaw, dredging, drilling equipment;
• Air lift and suction dredging;
• Low-pressure air compressor – Bottom surveys;
• High pressure air systems;
• Line pull signals, low visibility diving and emergency procedures.

Target Audience: Qualified divers who wish to expand their career and receive additional certification.
