Nitrox is an oxygen enriched gas blend specially developed for diving purposes. The Commercial NITROX Diver course provides theory and practice of Nitrox handling during commercial diving operations. The programs features physical properties of the gas blend and reserves time for practical dives using Nitrox.

Objective:

On completion of the Commercial NITROX Diver training delegates will understand the theory behind commercial diving operation with the use of Nitrox air blend as well as master equipment and techniques of underwater activities when breathing Nitrox instead of normal air.

Course content:

• Physical and chemical properties of Nitrox;
• Benefits of using Nitrox air blend;
• Nitrox dive planning;
• Nitrox dive tables provided by international accreditation societies;
• Gas blending theory;
• Practical Nitrox blending;
• Deepwater dives using Nitrox.

Target Audience: Commercial divers upgrading their qualification.

Pre-requisites: An acknowledged certificate of a Commercial Diver, Diver’s medical certificate.

Duration: 4 – 5 days.
