According to the requirements of STCW 2010, nautical officers are required to obtain ECDIS Type Specific in addition to ECDIS Generic Course certificates to ensure the profound knowledge of the particular system used on board of their vessel for the sake of greater navigational safety. Thus, ECDIS Type Specific (Raytheon Anschütz) course is developed for deck officers working on ships furnished with the corresponding ECDIS system.

Objective:

The key goal of the ECDIS Type Specific (Raytheon Anschütz) course is to obtain operational skills and understanding of the unique functional capabilities of the ECDIS system manufactured by Raytheon Anschütz. Training includes theory information about the system software and configuration as well as practical exercises.
