Introduction to Oil and Gas Industry
The Introduction to Oil and Gas Industry training is developed for the non-technical personnel starting to work in offshore drilling industry. The program is built to form a completed picture of the oil and gas production from exploration stage to drilling, offloading and storage.
Objective:
Personnel who have successfully completed the Introduction to Oil and Gas Industry course will obtain the following knowledge:
• Profound scientific overview of oil and gas industry such as origin of hydrocarbons on the planet, location on the main oil and gas basins, major producing countries;
• Commercial background of oil and gas exploration;
• Basic understanding about government regulation of Oil and Gas industry;
• Necessary drilling terminology;
• Complex understanding of the exploration, drilling, production and decommission processes.

• Scientific basics of Oil and Gas Industry;
• Drilling companies and contractors;
• Relevant regulation acts;
• Drilling terminology, offshore structures, well completion;
• Oil and gas production process.
Target Audience: New comers to the Oil and Gas industry not involved in technical jobs.
