The H2S Emergency Response Team training was designed to acquaint participants with properties and dangers of hydrogen sulfide as well as develop adherence to emergency response procedures in case of an H2S accident.

Objective:

The main goal of the H2S Emergency Response Team course is to introduce participants to physical and chemical features of H2S, explain effects that this gas might have on human health and train emergency response teams.

• How H2S is formed/ area of location;
• Properties and characteristic of H2S;
• Effected of H2S on human health;
• Occupational/workplace limits of (OEL/WEL) of H2S;
• Types and limitations of H2S detection devices;
• H2S alarms systems and actions to b taken in case of an alarm;
• Types and purposes of Compressed-Air Escape Devices;
• Roles and responsibilities of the Emergency Response Team in H2S emergency.

Target Audience: Specialists working in the Oil& Gas industry with the risk of exposure to H2S.
