The purpose of the Basic Survival Training (Recurrent) is to update and upgrade knowledge and skills acquired during the initial Basic Survival Training. The program is targeted at offshore personnel and shore-based Oil&Gas specialists and consists of theoretical and practical modules.

Objective:

The Basic Survival Training (Recurrent) is developed to refresh existing self-rescue skills which are essential for safe operation in the hazardous offshore environment. Program includes revision of fire-fighting, helicopter safety and emergency egress, sea survival, self-rescue and other important lectures and practical trainings.

Course content:

• Offshore hazards review;
• Offshore emergency response;
• Personal lifesaving equipment;
• Fire fighting module;
• Abandonment of the installation, self rescue and sea survival;
• Helicopter safety and underwater escape;
• HUEBA introduction and practical training.

Target Audience: Offshore and Oil&Gas personnel.

Pre-requisites: Valid Basic Survival Training certificate or an equivalent.

Duration: 2 days.

Validity: 3 years.
