The OIM Controlling Emergencies Coaching and Assessment course is developed to assist Offshore Installation Managers in obtaining an essential qualification in emergency management and internationally recognized endorsement in the profession. The assessment is conducted in accordance with OPITO standard.

Objective:

The key objective of the OIM Controlling Emergencies Coaching and Assessment course is to get advanced skills in the offshore emergency control during the coaching sessions and to pass the practical assessment in order to obtain the internationally acknowledged permit to work as Offshore Installation Manager.

Couching session:

Content of the couching sessions usually depends on the individual requirements of the candidate/ group of candidates or the Employer Company’s requirements in case OIM is assigned for the course.

A formative exercise is completed prior to formal assessment followed by full debriefing session to provide candidate with an opportunity to familiarize oneself with an assessment system properly.
