The Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry Training Package incorporates two important industrial courses i.e. the Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry which allows providing comprehensive safety instruction combined with practical training within one course program.

Objective:

The key objective of the Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry Training Package is to acquaint participants with risks associated with working at heights and operation in confined spaces; and with measures that exit to control these risks and possible hazards. Also, the course provides guidance to the relevant industry legislation and, most importantly, trains to operate safety equipment essential for work at height and in a confined space.

Course content:

• Hazards and risks associated with a confined space;
• Identification of CS, types of confined space;
• Hazards and risks connected with working at heights;
• Applicable legislation;
• Dangerous gases in CS, gas detection devices;
• Safety equipment in CS;
• Fall protection equipment for working at heights operations: selection, pre-use inspection, safe operation;
• Confined space rescue equipment and procedures;
• Practical training.

Assessment: theoretical and practical assessment at the end of the course.

Target Audience: Personnel engaged in the offshore and wind industries.
