GWO Working at Height and Rescue Refresher TrainingThe GWO Working at Heights and Rescue Refresher training must be taken biannually in order to maintain adequate competence in areas of wind turbine generators (WTG) safety equipment handling and renewables industry rescue procedures.

Objective:

The main goal of the GWO Working at Heights and Rescue Refresher training is to ensure that knowledge and skills acquired during the initial GWO Working at Heights and Rescue Training are still acute; and upgrade them with new industry guidelines, rescuing techniques and PPE and safety equipment handling tips.

Course content:

• Risk assessment;
• Legislation refresher module;
• Safety equipment handling (harnesses, fall arresters, restraint, etc.);
• PPE markings and fitting;
• Emergency situations in WTG and tower;
• Self and colleague rescue techniques.

Target Audience: Holders of the initial GWO Working at Heights and Rescue Training certificate requiring its revalidation.

Duration: 1 day.

Validity: 2 years.
