The Kirby Morgan Helmet and Bandmask Operator Course is developed in order to train professional commercial divers, tenders and supervisors in matters of daily maintenance, operation techniques and set up of KMDSI Helmets and BandMasks.

Objective:

The objective of the course is to provide trained commercial divers with skills to:

• Operate Kirby Morgan helmets and Bandmasks professionally;
• Perform pre-dive and post-dive checks of the equipment correctly;
• Conduct its routine maintenance;
• Be able to identify potentially hazardous defects of a helmet or a bandmask;
• Perform the primary set up and gauge of KMDSI Helmet and BandMask.

Course content:

• Variety of Kirby Morgan Equipment;
• First stage regulations, whips and gauges;
• Pre-dive, post-dive procedures, corrective adjustments;
• Recognizing the Helmet and BandMask deficiencies, inspection procedures;
• Monthly maintenance procedures of Kirby Morgan helmet and BandMask.

Target Audience: Certified commercial divers, tenders and supervisor.

Pre-requisites: Check with your training provider.

Duration: 2 days.

Validity: 2 years.
