HSE Air Diver Course – 9 weeks
The HSE Air Diver Course – 9 weeks is also known as the Offshore Career Package or similar names and constitutes of a compilation of the commercial diving programs i.e. HSE Professional SCUBA Diver, HSE Surface Supplied Diver and HSE Offshore Top Up trainings.
Objective:
The main goal of the HSE Air Diver Course – 9 weeks is to provide a complex knowledge and skills to perform commercial dives to 50 m in the offshore/inshore environments, operate a variety of manual and power tools professionally and cope with any diving emergency.
Course content:
• HSE First Aid at Work and O2 provider (Commercial Diving Endorsement);
• HSE SCUBA Diving equipment;
• HSE Professional SCUBA Inspection;
• HSE Surface Supplied Diver equipment;
• Manual, hydraulic and power tools;
• Principles of offshore constructions;
• HSE Surface Supplied Dives and Inspections;
• HSE Offshore Top Up equipment – wet bell, hot suit, gas mixtures;
• HSE Offshore Top Up dives, NDT.
Target Audience: Divers with some previous experience wishing to obtain overall certification including:
• HSE Wet-Bell Top-Up (Part 1) (IMCA Recognized);
• HSE Surface Supplied (Part 3);
• HSE Professional SCUBA (Part 4);
• First Aid at Work & O2 Provider (Commercial Diving Endorsement);
• Emergency Air Chamber Operator;
• Commercial NITROX.
Pre-requisites: Previous diving experience with the logged dives and in-date diver’s medical certificate.
Duration: 9 weeks.
