The Commercial Diving Taster Day or as it’s sometimes called Commercial Diving Aptitude Day might become an important step in the decision making process as is demonstrates all the advantages and disadvantages of the Commercial Diver’s job. During this day training providers allow testing equipment and facilities, make current industry overview and instruct participant regarding individual prospects in commercial diving.

 The main goal of the Commercial Diving Taster Day is to introduce delegates to the Commercial diving industry, provide basic understanding of the dive techniques and equipment currently employed and offer a variety of opportunities for the career development through the Commercial Diving courses such as Air/ Mixed Gas Commercial Diver training, Underwater Welding, hydraulic and pneumatic tools handling, etc.

Course content:

• Orientation, medical briefing;
• Commercial diving history and relevant guidelines;
• Current industry overview;
• Course opportunities and facilities familiarization;
• Diving briefing;
• Dive in Surface Supply Diving Equipment or Scuba Diving;
• Dive tending;
• Dive debriefing;
• Results discussion, assessment of a suitability for the further training and career in commercial diving.

Target Audience: Personnel interested in a Commercial Diver career.

Pre-requisites: Some previous diving experience would be an advantage.

Duration: 1 day.
