The Commercial Diver Course also known as the Commercial Scuba Diver Program is an efficient training for those who have chosen a career in commercial diving. The courses are usually certified by IMCA, ADAS and other international associations and provide comprehensive set of skills and knowledge necessary for the safe diving operations.

Objective:

The key objective of the Commercial Diver Course is to train participants to dive safely and perform various underwater operations such as engineering and environmental inspections, hull and offshore repairs and maintenance works, participation in archeological and police investigations, underwater film and video production.

Course content:

• Diving equipment, tools and rigging;
• Full face mask diving;
• Night time and low visibility diving techniques;
• Underwater navigation and environmental survey works;
• Search and recovery;
• Hull and engineering inspections, offshore maintenance works;
• Life line and tether line diving;
• Diving within nets and aquaculture diving;
• Seafood harvesting;
• Simulated decompression and diving rescue procedures;
• Underwater video operator course.

Target Audience: Specialists with some diving experience who wish to obtain qualification of the Commercial Scuba Diver.

Pre-requisites: Divers’ Medical certificate.

Note: Some training providers also require at least recreational SCUBA certificate issued by a recognized organization and 20 logged dives within the past 12 months.

Duration: Up to 12 weeks.
