The OPITO Banksman and Slinger Stage 4 Competence Re-Assessment must be completed every 2 years after obtaining of the OPITO Banksman and Slinger Stage 3 competence certificate. In course of the re-assessment candidates should demonstrate their continual professionalism in crane banking and load slinging operations. Similar to Stage 3, the Stage 4 Re-Assessment consists of the theoretical and practical tasks.

Objectives:

The key objective of the OPITO Banksman and Slinger Stage 4 Competence Re-Assessment is to ascertain that a high level of safety knowledge and profound banking and slinging practical skills are maintained. Candidates are able to communicate signals to crane operator by radio or hands effectively, inspects and assess loads, lifting gear and containers expertly; perform slinging operations correctly.

• Loads slinging;

Target Audience: Holders of OPITO Banksman and Slinger Stage 3 certificates requiring revalidation.

Pre-requisites: valid OPITO Banksman and Slinger Stage 3 or Banksman and Slinger Stage 4 certificates.

Duration: 1 day.

Validity: 2 years.
