• Cargo systems and operations on oil tanker;

• Cargo calculations;
• Safety procedures, confined space entry, gas control;
• Chemical tanker equipment features, pumping system;
• Pollution prevention, MARPOL;
• Emergency procedures and maintenance of equipment.

Target Audience: Masters, Chief Officers, Chief Engineers, 2nd Engineers, other officers designated with cargo handling duties on oil and chemical product tankers.

Pre-requisites: Valid Basic Training for Oil and Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations certificate.

Important: the Fire Fighting certificate is required for this course enrollment in Australia.

Duration: 4 – 5 days.
