The Offshore Advanced First Aid training is developed to upgrade skills and knowledge of offshore first aid providers to enable them working alongside Offshore Medic. The course program is focused on the medical equipment and practical training.

Objective:

The key objective of the Offshore Advanced First Aid course is to upgrade medical knowledge of personnel designated to provide first medical aid on offshore installations to enable them operate medical equipment and assist Offshore Medic with difficult cases handling.

Course content:

• Casualty care, unconscious casualty;
• Vital signs, (assessment, recording);
• Basic life support;
• Monitoring;
• Operation of advanced equipment;
• Practical tasks.

Target Audience: Holders of an Offshore First Aid certificate who would like to develop their competence.

Pre-requisites: Valid Offshore First Aid certificate.

Duration: 1 day.
